A week of Lettermarks and Sketches ^_^

Today I took the sketches from last week, and went Digital!

I'll show you later which one I chose and perfected for my final product ;-)

To really clear my head I took some time to sketch...

And learned a new way(to me) of setting up my characters' bodies for better proportions ^_^

I haven't given her a name just yet, Paigeeworld app on my ipad really inspired me with its Anime Tutorials

Elsa from Frozen, except I really screwed up her face :( I will be trying again until I get it right!

First week of the semester... Nervous!

First week of class. I am studying to become a Graphic Designer. I would love to design posters, logos, covers.... Maybe design children book covers? I'm really excited for the classes I'm taking this semester: Photoshop and Typograghy! Hopefully this semester I will be designing my own Trademark and Background for this blog. 

So our first assignment is about logotype identities. these are my sketches so far

Today my boyfriend's mom got a bunch of art supplies from one of her friends that is moving back to France. I accidently squeezed too hard on a tube of oil paint, so I figured I would make some use of the paint, this was the result... Photo opportunity! You'll never guess what this actually is ;-)

A Bambi Christmas and a Happy New Year!

My First Post for the New Year!
Let's Start with my Christmas Decorations!

A Conglomeration of Poinsettias, Holly, Pine cones, Burlap ribbon, festive ribbons, and beautiful lights

I decided to make our Christmas Ornament this year <3
I drew the doe and stag with my beloved Copic markers. I applied them to what I like to call 'Tree Coins' with Glossy Mod podge, then glossed them over with the same mod podge
In retrospect I should have gone to the Christmas Tree department at Home Depot a lot sooner than I did to collect more Tree coins!
